Report on Dota 2: Results of School Competitions in St. Petersburg

Within the framework of the university esports club "EURASEC GAMING" at the Eurasian Economic Union Parliamentary Assembly, a Dota 2 championship among high school students was organized. The tournament, held from March 14th to 16th, brought together 14 teams from 13 educational institutions and over 70 novice esports players.

 

As part of the implementation of the programs of the eSports and Education Gamification Laboratory of the University at the Eurasian Economic Union's Secretariat, a Dota 2 championship was organized among students of secondary educational institutions in the city. The tournament, held from March 14th to 16th, gathered 14 teams from 13 educational institutions and over 70 aspiring esports athletes.

 

Following the final matches, the winners were determined: 1st place - the team "START+," 2nd place - the team of School No. 169, 3rd place - the team ROM WP of the Romanovskaya Secondary School, 4th place - the team "The Generation of Miracles" from School № 375.

 

During the final event, a mini-exhibition of programmable robots, a quiz from a partner, lunch for participants and guests, and the opportunity to take photos with a cosplayer were organized. The design of awards and the championship logo was created by student organizers using special graphical neural networks, adding a special charm to the awards.

 

The event was rich, spectacular, and very interesting. We express our gratitude to the esports club "EURASEC GAMING" for providing such a unique opportunity and want to congratulate all tournament participants on achieving their goals!
